Description
Introducing the ELIDE FIRE: Fire Extinguishing ball, the first commercially available fire extinguishing device designed to self-activate. Within 3-10 seconds of contact with flames, this ball releases non-toxic extinguishing agents, effectively putting out fires within a 13ft radius (equivalent to a 5lb content extinguisher).
The outward circular force from the ball blast assists in removing oxygen from the fire area, while the dry chemical extinguishes the fire.
Both the 4 inch and 6 inch version will come with a mounting bracket for ease of installation.
ELIDE FIRE provides protection against:
Class A – Dry fires (wood, paper, fabrics, etc)
Class B – Oil fires (flammable liquids, plastics, etc)
Class C – Electrical fires (electrical equipment, short circuits, etc)
Precautions for use:
- Heat alone does not activate the fire ball. It only triggers when in contact with flames
- Do not store or place product in a humid area or direct sunlight
- If the device has cracked or leaks, this will reduce its effectiveness
